All We Ever Wanted Was Everything

UCI: Claire Trevor Theater

All We Ever Wanted was Everything was an original play, world premiering at UCI as a faculty directed project. The story is about a group of young adults living in a house in Inglewood together as an environmentally friendly community which grows their own food. The atmosphere was a realistic interior in thrust configuration and connected to a backyard space through a central doorway. While primarily focused on multi-sided actor visibility, Lighting followed time of day for each scene, and faded into a cold grey world for time-passing sequences. This show had a very short tech schedule, meaning I only had 1 day to load in and focus. With efficient use of resources I was able to get everyone through load-in and load-out with time to spare.
